Add the needle bearing thrust washer to make preload adjustments much easier. The ring then spins much easier against the spring making adjustments quite a bit easier. This part is designed to suit standard OEM shaft body. • NOTE – Disassembly is required if you are putting the collar on a shock shaft ! Suspension specialist workshops buy these off us so if your shock is having a makeover it would pay to add this at time of rebuild.
