0386S ASC American Steerable Suspension Air Control Panel

Original AIRman, not imported! Used in Steerable lift axle applications. This air control kit is made by AIRman which directly replaces HAC-SSI formally from Hendrickson. The face of the panel does not bear the Hendrickson name but other than that, is identical to the original HAC-SSI. This panel also replaces flip switch model R-017513-00. The Hendrickson version of the HAC-SSI is discontinued and is replaced by LC-SSI, which requires new plumbing and the panel size is different. We stock it also, and you can find it HERE. Note: A electrical relay may be required to connect to the reverse light circuit for the “lift in reverse” feature. Download the installation instructions below for more details. 12vdc applied to the lift solenoid raises the axle. This would be typically connected to the reverse light circuit. Note that some vehicles use a negative switched reverse light circuit and would require the use of a relay to operate properly (not included).
