DescriptionUltralight Tarp Tent – PyraOmm Max Tarp LitewayAn ultralight tarp tent for lightweight backpackers. The PyraOmm Plus Tarp model combines lightness, wind resistance, and good interior space. The tarp tent has two separate zippered entrances with water-repellent zippers. This model is designed for four people, but it can accommodate five if necessary. The tarp tent has an area of 7.5 square meters.Poles Required for SetupThe PyraOmm Max Tarp tent can be set up with one or two poles. If set up with one pole, it is placed in the center of the tarp tent. The pole must be 185 cm long.When set up with two poles, a separately sold accessory is required. The accessory is called an A-frame connector, which connects the poles at the ridge in an A-shape, keeping the poles out of the way inside the tarp tent.When setting up the PyraOmm Max Tarp tent in an A-shape, the total length of your trekking pole A-frame connector must be about 220-225 cm. The pole must be at least 190 cm long, requiring the longest 35 cm A-frame connector. In the PyraOmm Max model, one central pole has been considered a better setup option by many.Stake RequirementThe manufacturer recommends at least 4 stakes for setup (stakes are not included). However, we recommend using 6 stakes. One for each corner and one for each door. Additional stakes are needed if windy weather is expected, in which case extra guy lines should be staked to the additional attachment points on the sides of the tarp tent.Seam SealingNote that the seams of the tarp tent are not sealed; they must be sealed by yourself. Seam sealant is not included with the product.
