Description This genuine Kyanite beads strand is: Quantity: one 16″ strand (about 48 beads) Shape: Smooth glossy oval bean shape Size: Graduated from 4.5×5.5mm up to 9x12mm Quality: I’m going to have to call this Kyanite an AA grade at least. These are fantastic beads! As you can see from the image, the color is wonderful, and some of the stones have that characteristic light stripe in them. The drilling and cut look pretty good on these stones, in that, I don’t see any that sit wonky on the strand & they are pretty uniform in shape & polish (generally speaking of course). In addition, they are very translucent, although Kyanite, being as it is, there are some visible inclusions, but I didn’t see any with color (actually I saw one with a little brownish shadow, but that was it). They are generally translucent to transparent (given the aforementioned inclusions), and are a beautiful blue, with a nice amount of shimmer as well. This is a really nice strand of Kyanite!
