These are NOT those beads. These are for the purists. We give these a grade AAA, Very Fine Quality Lapis Lazuli cabochon because of the outrageous, deep, midnight color of them, along with the incredible cut & polish. These stones feel like heaven. At the same time, perfect lapis should have miniscule pyrite in the stone so as to reduce the amount of calcite that accompanies it. These are incredibly deep blue with a nice sparkle from the pyrite. In fact, the supplier I bought them from told me that nobody would want to buy these because the quality was too high – and I told him – “my customers will, they understand the value of quality.” Totally.
