These are really amazing. They are translucent with a light, lovely flash in most of the stones. I must say, I did find a stone that looked like it might not flash, but it’s hard to go through one by one and judge these guys when they are strung (much harder than with labradorite) – but I might have been wrong. Regardless, some of the flash is a bit more subtle, but (as you can see in the image). These are beautifully cut with a slippery, glossy finish. Although they aren’t perfectly calibrated, they are pretty well matched in size, with some variation within. Generally speaking, these are a set of solid quality moonstone beads! You will receive one of the strands shown in the image. Moonstone is an alternate birthstone for June, and Hindu lore says that the radiant shimmer of moonstone is from captured moonbeams in the stone. Dreamy, eh?
