There is a bit of a mix on the strand in that some of them are more translucent and then suddenly you are wowed by how transparent other stones are! They flash beautifully with a blue radiance and the faceting makes for an outrageous sparkle. I am personally quite attached to the 3-D teardrop shape, I really love it, and these little guys are beautifully cut and faceted! These are somewhat shy about flashing but they really do. They are very translucent and have a lovely ethereal haze to them. Overall, a surprising strand of briolettes with a lot of (rather shy) flash in a quality stone that has a great cut. Moonstone is an alternate birthstone for June, and Hindu lore says that the radiant shimmer of moonstone is from captured moonbeams in the stone. Dreamy, eh?
